Hinged instruments, pliers, bone rongeur forceps, scissors and needle holders should always be well lubricated.
If applied regularly, Hu-Friedy ILS Spray prevents abrasive corrosion and reduces friction levels when tools are used. Always ensure hinged instruments are open before cleaning, disinfection or sterilisation.
ILS keeps hinged instruments moving freely.

Chemical Integrators Class 5 - ISO 11140-1
The new Hu-Friedy Steam Sterilisation integrators are a multi-parameter chemical indicator and are a more stringent, reliable indication that sterilisation parameters have been met compared to other classes of sterilization monitors. The integrator is used to monitor the steam sterilization process and can be placed inside each pack or load.

The integrator’s Moving Front Indicator Technology gives a better indication of acceptance, no interpretation of color change needed
The strip is easily visible inside the pack (2" long) allowing users to easily view the integrator from the outside of a pouch or within a cassette in order to view sterilization at a glance
Product is lead free and does not contribute to environmental lead contamination, making it safe for the environment, there are no special hazardous waste requirements
Product is not made with natural rubber latex making it safe for staff and patients with latex sensitivity or allergies
Integrators function with a variety of steam sterilizers - gravity, pre-vacuum and flash sterilizers, no need to inventory different monitor products

IMS Monitor Tape
Strong tape can be written on and visually differentiates processed from non-processed cassettes. Available by procedure type (pre-printed), color-coded or blank.
Hu-Friedy has developed lead and latex free monitor tape for labeling and packaged instrument cassettes therefore expanding the product range of its successful instrument management system. The environmentally-friendly monitor tape excludes the risk of lead contamination and enhances safety for patients and users who suffer latex allergies.
The monitoring tape can be labeled, for example with cassette content and date, for greater transparency and efficiency in everyday practice work. It also serves as a reliable process indicator: Black strips appear on the tape once the cassette has been sterilised in the autoclave.
Confusion with cassettes that have not yet passed through this working step is reliably excluded as a result. Avoiding lead and latex, the new monitoring tape is simple to dispose of after use.

Two sheets of wrap ultrasonically bonded together on two edges for quick and easy wrapping application, assuring compliance
Hu-Friedy’s IMS Bonded Double Wrap allows dental practitioners to be in compliance with the most stringent sterilization standards for healthcare settings: EN868-2, EN ISO 11607-1, ANSI/AAMI ST79 and CDC Guidelines. The Wrap is two sheets of SMS polypropylene material bonded together allowing for efficient, simultaneous wrapping. The two sheets are different colors which aids in identifying breaches in the packaging post sterilization and also allows package differentiation by color. The Hu-Friedy Bagette self-sealing sterilisation pouch line includes a variety of sizes created to fit all your sterilisation needs.
Four of the sizes were specifically designed to fit our line of IMS cassettes. And four additional sizes are available for other items including rubber dam clamps, burs, hand pieces and loose instruments. Made of high quality medical grade paper and multi-layer plastic, the pouches include strong seals to prevent breaches and built in internal and external indicators for Steam and EO processes.

Process indicators are located both internal and external to the instrument/cassette area and respond to all variables: time, temperature and saturated steam

The IMS Infinity Cassette from Hu-Friedy features a more open, modern hole pattern and improved rail design that allows for more open area and less instrument contact for optimal cleaning, rinsing, and drainage and reduced potential for rinse shadows.
A more ergonomic, user-intuitive latch gives visual indication that the cassette is locked or unlocked. The cassettes have been designed to be compatible with all cleaning equipment, including TDI.
The new cassette line is available in multiple configurations in 1/4 DIN, 1/2 DIN, and full DIN as well as a 12 instrument Container Cassette. The cassette line is available in 11 rail colors, including three new colors: Purple, Ocean Blue, and Black.

Hu-Friedy’s Sterilisation Container Solution: provides economic and environmental benefits along with enhanced safety.
Hu-Friedy’s Sterilisation Containers are a reusable, rigid system used for the packaging of cassettes and instruments during sterilisation. An alternative to the wrap and pouch materials commonly used to package cassettes and instruments, Sterilisation Containers provide significant economic and environmental benefits along with enhanced safety.
At the same time it saves time for you and your assistants and prolongs the lifetime of your instruments.

The sterilization containers are available in four different sizes:
IMDINCO0M - Container for 1 cassette. Dimensions: 312 x 190 x 50mm and 312 x 190 x 50mm
IMDINCO1M - Container for 1 cassette. Dimensions: 312 x 190 x 50mm and 312 x 190 x 65mm
IMDINCO2M - Container for max. 2 cassettes. Dimensions: 312 x 190 x 100mm
IMDINCO3M - Container for max. 3 cassettes. Dimensions: 312 x 190 x 135mm

FEATURES:

Lid and bottom are made of anodized aluminum making them lightweight with excellent drying properties. The aluminum alloy with an anodized oxide surface helps resist corrosion
Two external display windows provide space for a process indicator card and container identification
Hence their size conforms with the DIN norm 13999. The container cassettes are made of a high-quality stainless steel and have silicone rails to fasten your instruments securely. The variety of the colour coded rails contributes to an optimal organization of your practice.
After the treatment, the IMS container cassettes, containing the complete instrument sets, are safely stored in our well-designed container. The container also serves as packaging for the steam sterilization according to the reprocessing procedures of dental hand instruments and accessories, as well as for the sterile storage that follows.
The dental containers are appropriate for the pre-vacuum, fractioned vacuum and fractioned streaming procedures. In addition to the disposable fabric filters, the Hu-Friedy permanent filters (PTFE) are ideal for the sterilization in that they are usable for up to 1200 sterilization cycles.
Special Hu-Friedy indicator/ labels which are placed on the container, give you the evidencing proof of effective sterilization, in that a colour change from pink to brown will take place. Our indication strips prove that your instruments have been sterilized. Keep one in every patient file as this will show your patients how important they and their health are to you.
The well-designed IMS System is ideal for time management in your practice. You will be able to work faster in all areas, whether cleaning, layout or treatment.
