Giornata Mondiale Contro L'AIDS: come prevenire le malattie infettive in odontoiatria
Lo scorso 1 ° dicembre c’è stata la Giornata mondiale contro l'AIDS e l'ospedale Sacco di Milano ha ospitato un convegno organizzato dal SIASO, il Sindacato Italiano Assistenti Studio Odontoiatrico, sull'importanza di indossare dispositivi di protezione personale (DPI) e di seguire tutte le procedure standard durante il ricondizionamento degli strumenti al fine di prevenire le malattie trasmissibili in odontoiatria.
LA SOLUZIONE PER UNO STUDIO ODONTOIATRICO VIP
Il primo corso “La soluzione per uno studio odontoiatrico VIP” in tema di infezioni crociate in ambito odontoiatrico, si è tenuto nella sede di W&H – Brusaporto. I due relatori Anna Busia (Hu-Friedy) e Christian Stempf (W&H) hanno illustrato le tecniche per ricondizionare gli strumenti in maniera efficiente, organizzata e in sicurezza.

It’s important to know at early stages the procedures for preventing cross-infections that can be contracted within the dental office: the students of the first year of Dentistry of the University of Milan attended a course on these topics that Luca Lolaico, Area Manager at Hu-Friedy, explained yesterday.

New educational trainings about Instrument Management System (IMS) and Infection Prevention with hands-on sessions were held last week in some Universities in Saudi Arabia, among which KAU – King Abdulaziz University (Jeddah), PNU – Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (Riyadh), and Al-Jouf University (Al-Jouf). In collaboration with AMG Al-Turki Medical Group, Hu-Friedy provided the main insights on how to prevent cross-infection diseases thanks to standardized protocols that increase organization, efficiency and safety in a dental practice.

The 2019 marks the 111th anniversary of Hu-Friedy and over 250 opinion leaders, doctors and professors attended a very special event in Russia last 23rd September.
