HuFriedyGroup Consignes de prévention des infections , Savez-vous si votre cabinet respecte le protocole approprié de prévention des infections ?   Le traitement des instruments est une composante essentielle du programme de contrôle des infections d’un cabinet et il doit être effectué correctement pour garantir la sécurité des patients. , Mettre en oeuvre un protocole de prévention des infections et de traitement des instruments conforme aux directives européennes et nationales peut aider votre cabinet à fournir un environnement plus sûr et plus confortable à votre personnel et à vos patients. Utiliser les directives de traitement des instruments comme ressource de formation et pour appuyer le protocole ; elles doivent être faciles d’accès pour se conformer au programme. , Zone de traitement des instruments Le cabinet dentaire doit être muni d’une zone de traitement centralisée dédiée et physiquement divisée, ou du moins dans l’espace, en zones séparées pour:   , 1.    RECEIVING, CLEANING & DECONTAMINATION   Effective sterilization begins with thorough cleaning and disinfection to remove debris and contaminants. Wearing puncture-resistant gloves and appropriate PPE is crucial. Utilize automated cleaning equipment for efficiency and safety. Even visibly clean instruments may need verification; consider using Cleaning Monitors to ensure the cleaning process's efficacy in washer-disinfectors and ultrasonic cleaners. , 2.   PRÉPARATION ET EMBALLAGE/h2>   Assurez-vous que les instruments sont complètement secs avant l'emballage. Après le nettoyage, inspectez les instruments critiques et semi-critiques pour détecter les débris. Lubrifiez les instruments articulés comme les pinces et les ciseaux. HuFriedyGroup propose des lingettes Shine reNEW pour la restauration de l'acier inoxydable et un spray ILS pour la lubrification des articulations. Assemblez les instruments en ensembles ou plateaux, étiquetez les paquets avec la date et stérilisez-les , 3.    STÉRILISATION   Suivez les instructions du fabricant pour les contrôleurs mécaniques et chimiques afin d'assurer l'efficacité de la stérilisation. Contrôlez chaque charge avec des indicateurs, en plaçant un indicateur chimique à l'intérieur de chaque emballage d'instruments. S'il n'est pas visible de l'extérieur, ajoutez-en un autre à l'extérieur. Placez les paquets de manière lâche dans le stérilisateur pour une pénétration adéquate du stérilisant. Effectuez quotidiennement un test Bowie-Dick pour détecter l'air résiduel. Réalisez une surveillance biologique hebdomadaire (test de spores) pour garantir la destruction des micro-organismes lors de la stérilisation à la vapeur. , 4.    STOCKAGE Stockez les articles stériles dans des armoires couvertes ou fermées. Ne stockez jamais d'articles stériles au-dessus d'un stérilisateur. Examinez tous les paquets stérilisés avant de les ouvrir pour vérifier que l'enveloppe de protection n'a pas été compromise pendant le stockage.
