PROTEGGI I TUOI PAZIENTI
Do you know how to keep your patients safe?
Preventing and controlling the spread of infectious diseases is very important in the dental community. Follow our advises on how to reduce the risk for patients of contracting infectious disease.
STANDARD PRECAUTIONS
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the European Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have guidelines and recommendations to help dental offices create a safe environment for patients and staff.

INSTRUMENT AND DEVICE SAFETY
International Best Practice highlight standardized procedures to keep instruments safe for use with patients with a proper Infection Prevention protocol. The steps are chairside, transportation, cleaning and decontamination, packaging, sterilization and storage. By using a written and standardized protocol helps you to control quality and ensure safety.

HAND HYGIENE
Hand Hygiene is part of standard precautions and the first and best defence against infections. Hand washing, disinfection, and moisturizing throughout the day and between patient visits help to prevent the spread of disease.

CLEAN SURFACES
Potential infection is everywhere in the dental office, that is filled with surfaces that can be easily contaminated throughout the day, such as light switches, handles, countertops, chairs, and doorknobs. These surfaces must be cleaned and disinfected or covered with barriers that are changed between patients.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
It’s important that both patients and staff have no exposure or contact with diseases during treatment. Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, clothing, and face and eye protection, helps prevent cross contamination or injuries from spray, splatter, and small particles. The PPE must be changed between each patient.
KEEPING PATIENTS SAFE
Are you doing everything you can to provide a safe environment for your patients and staff? If you are not already using an Instrument Management System (IMS) at your practice, now might be the time to consider this safe, compliant, and efficient system for organizing and reprocessing instruments.
Schedule a PERSONAL IN-OFFICE OR VIRTUAL CONSULTATION with our Representatives to learn how Circle of Protection can prevent the spread of disease and improve the safety of your practice.
