Dr. Hudson Garrett is the President and CEO of Community Health Associates, LLC. and has a faculty appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He also co-founded the nonprofit Infection Prevention Institute to help shepherd dissemination of best practices of infection prevention and control across the healthcare continuum of care globally. He has served on national boards in the areas of environmental services, dental infection control, acute care infection control, post-acute care infection control, and vascular access. He has served on panels related to disinfection and sterilization with both the FDA and EPA. Dr. Garrett has lectured in more than 25 countries and given testimony to government and regulatory agencies on a variety of topics related to infectious diseases.
